Christmas in May?

I was going through some photos on my phone and re-discovered some pictures that I took at Tod's work party. This event was on December 16th 2011.

There was a sumptuous feast of turkey, ham and roast beast, and the salad they had was fresh and delightful, and cheesecake was for dessert with berries that you can top the cheese cake with yourself. I  ate a whole bunch of berries instead of cheesecake.

We had fun with the large Christmas displays.

We danced too, but I don't have  any pics of that, it's pretty difficult to take a self-photo when swing dancing. The Hosts/MC's of the evening saw us dancing so they drew attention to us using their microphone and telling everyone in the room (probably about 300-400 people) to check out the "swingers".  They even played another song for us, that common folk associate with big band music, but that is very fast and very hard to swing dance to.  Sorry Host/M.C., we're not quite that talented yet.

There were raffle tickets that folks were given and could use to gamble with to increase the amoutn of raffle tickets they got. Some folks ended up with hundreds of tickets. The tickets were used to put into each "bin" for the big ticket gifts such as TV's and cool electronic equipment. The Boss of course drew the winning ticket to give away all the garb, as is typical for Holiday company parties. It was kinda nuts watching the folks who gambled and won lots of raffle tickets go through all the little numbers to check if they won something.

Unfortunately, we didn't win anything. Instead of gambling we had fun dancing instead.
BIG PRESENTS!
How big? This Big!
Raffle tickets for the big giveaway at the end of the night.
It's a Rose fork!

Another random Christmas photo includes Santa Claus riding a motorcycle, and pulling a u-turn, on State St in Orem near University mall. The Driver was stopped at a red light when taking this photograph.

A rose fork...ha ha

The infamous rose fork.

Pretty how they put lights around the gifts.
