Tomorrow Tod and I put our developing strength to the test. We're Hiking the Y! It's a fairly easy hike, that's not so special, but what's going to be amazing about it is that we're going to dress up all in blue and try -- with hundreds (approx. 300-600) of other people -- to turn the Y into a giant US flag!I am going to be a shuttle driver from the BYU Law Building to the Y Trail head (in attempt to prevent a massive traffic jam at the trail head where there's only 50 parking spots) and Tod will be Directing people. We will then hike the Y in our garb with our blanket and umbrella (they're blue too!) and join the rest of the the folk on the mountain. We're going to stick around to watch the fireworks. I plan to bring my camera (the old skool SLR) to take all kinds of fun pictures and hopefully I'll finish off the roll so you'll all get to see what else we've been up to!

I hope that this will put some brownie points in the karma bag towards my immigration papers. The gov't rescheduled my biometrics appointment for the 14th of july, when we wanted to go down to St. George and visit my sister and her family. So our visiting plans will change cause I don't want to tell the gov't to reschedule.

This little adventure may get us in the news paper again, the organizers have alerted the media including Provo's Daily Herald, so we may be captured again in the paper doing fun stuff!

That sounds like so much fun! I'll keep my eye on the Daily Herald to see if they get a distance picture of it.
Have fun and tell us the news!
no pictures from the herald. :(
